Game, Set, Green at the Upper Austria Ladies Linz

This is a clear sign in favour of environmental protection and resource conservation! Even before the tournament begins, the Upper Austria Ladies Linz is setting an example for sustainability with its tennis ball collection campaign. Together with our partner LINZ AG, a new initiative will be launched in which pink collection boxes will be made available in clubs and tennis halls.

Tennis players have the opportunity to throw their old tennis balls into these boxes and do something for the environment. The box can then be handed in at the next Upper Austria Ladies Linz from 26 January to 2 February 2025 or sent back to the event team by Tuesday, 28 January 2025. The balls will then be recycled.

The campaign will continue as part of the WTA 500 tournament. Visitors can hand in their used tennis balls and secure a goodie from Upper Austria Ladies Linz and its partner LINZ AG.
