Opening Day with lots of attractions and goodie bags for the first 500 fans

The upgrade of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz to the status of a WTA 500 event is the fulfilment of a heartfelt wish for tournament director Sandra Reichel. Reichel wants to share the joy of this honour with the fans from the very first moment: On the first day of the tournament (Sunday, 28 January), when the qualifying matches for the main draw will take place, there will be a great programme for all tennis fans - especially the younger ones!

One attraction follows another at the Linz Design Centre:  
- Children's programme with face painting
- Tennis goal shooting
- Tennis taster sessions with coaches
- "How fit are you" - test stations from Sportland Oberösterreich
- Meet & Greet with tennis stars from the tournament
- Competition with great prizes, such as tickets for the final or a short holiday in an Upper Austrian holiday destination
 
By the way: Those who come early get more out of the day! There are special goodie bags with treats from our partners for the first 500 visitors.
 
Tickets for the Opening Day are available in advance from the Online ticket shop and at the box office on Sunday in the Design Centre.
