Markus Achleitner, Upper Austria's regional councillor for business and sports, is enthusiastic about the initiative. "Promoting young talent is a top priority in Upper Austria as a sports state because it is important to get young people moving. That is why we are very pleased that Austria's most important women's sporting event is now also setting up the largest initiative for young talent in the sport of women's tennis in our province. The campaign also fulfils a social benefit. It aims to get children involved in sport - with fun and a playful approach."
