The fun continues!

"Sport and fun with the stars" has been an integral part of the WTA-500 "Upper Austria Ladies Linz" tennis tournament for many years.

On the initiative of Deputy Mayor Karin Hörzing, kindergarten children from Linz get their first, very playful contact with the sport of tennis with tennis stars. What was previously only possible as part of the WTA-500 tournament will now be continued throughout the year. Once a month, a group of children in their final year of kindergarten receive a taster session with professional tennis coaches. Most recently, tournament director Sandra Reichel, who was once active in professional tennis herself, picked up a racket and helped the little ones with their first swing exercises.

At the latest event in the ULTV hall on Froschberg, 44 little future "Dominic Thiems" and "Babsi Schetts" had a lot of fun in several groups during their first tennis training session. To be continued - both in November and December and, of course, at the next "Upper Austria Ladies Linz", from 26 January - 2 February 2025 at the Design Center Linz.
