Collaboration, perspectives, visions: The 3rd FE&MALE Sports Conference focusses on women's and men's power 

This line-up is really something to be proud of! At the FE&MALE Sports Conference "Advantage Ladies" on 29 January 2025 at the Design Center Linz, prominent speakers will discuss the investment potential, opportunities and future viability of sport and the potential that women's sport can contribute to this. Organised by Upper Austria Ladies Linz, Sport Austria and the Austrian Tennis Federation, the event will take place as part of the renowned WTA 500 women's tennis tournament in Linz. Upper Austria Ladies Linz, which is organised by the Reichel Business Group (RBG).

The programme is divided into three thematic blocks that highlight opportunities for cooperation between sport, business, science and the media, highlight new perspectives for women's sport and express the power of sport and the associated visions for society.

The line-up of keynote speakers and panel participants reflects the event motto "Successful together". It includes men and women, "young" and "old" as well as top national and international speakers.

Geneticist Prof. Dr Markus Hengstschläger and tournament ambassador Barbara Schett-Eagle will also be represented on the podium this year as high-calibre constants.

Exciting data will be provided by David Pfarrhofer, CEO of the Linz Market Institute. Tom Stanton from the "More than Equal" initiative, which was founded by former Formula 1 vice world champion David Coulthard, will contribute international expertise in talent identification and development. The aim of the "More than Equal" initiative is to establish a female Formula 1 world champion. 

Jürgen Irsigler, CEO of Admiral Sportwetten, Sky sports commentator Marcel Meinert and Yana Bokareva, Sports Marketing Manager of the internationally renowned sporting goods manufacturer Asics, will also shed light on important developments and opportunities for women's sport.

Of course, many athletes will also be heard and seen on the stage of the Design Centre's congress hall - above all the "Advantage Ladies" ambassador and European rowing champion Magdalena Lobnig, Austria's best wheelchair tennis player Nico Langmann, Saman Soltani from the IOC Refugee Olympic Team Paris 2024, Lena Millonig, Austrian athlete and sports ambassador for Plan International.

The event will be hosted by ORF journalist Alina Zellhofer, who has just been voted Sports Journalist of the Year in Austria.
