When it comes to the greatest triumphs in Austrian women's tennis in recent decades, Judith Wiesner-Floimair's name usually comes up very quickly. The five-time WTA tournament winner is one of the most successful ÖTV players of all time.

She reached at least the last 16 at all four Grand Slam tournaments, and even reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon and the US Open in 1996. In that year, she was also allowed to compete for the second time since 1990 in the Masters of the 16 best players of the season. Austria's record player in the Billie Jean King Cup was also an absolute figure of identification in the early years of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz and helped to establish the event in the Upper Austrian capital with her successes.

She reached the semi-finals on the Gugl three times (1993, 1996, 1997). She made it to the final in 1993 in the doubles alongside Conchita Martinez. She worked her way up to twelfth place in the world rankings, was in the top 20 for nine years and became a role model for many young Austrian hopefuls thanks to her reliability.
