This year-round initiative we founded organizes continuing education programs & networking events for women in business and sports. Special activities are in the areas of women's advancement, women's health and women in sports.

LADIES IN SPORTS & BUSINESS

Together with our partners and sponsors, we want to be a role model for climate protection not only in Austria, but also worldwide on the WTA Tour. By moving to the "Design Center Linz", we have taken another step towards organizing a sustainable event.

SUSTAINABILITY

The Upper Austria Ladies Linz takes an active role in allowing people with disabilities to participate in sports and social events. The tournament sees itself as a stage for wheelchair tennis players to demonstrate their sporting achievements and also their social concerns.

STAGE FOR VERY SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS

It is important to us to get children playing tennis. Every year, we come up with various children's activities as part of the tournament to get even the youngest children interested in tennis.

The UPPER AUSTRIA LADIES LINZ is the most important women's sporting event in Austria. The best female tennis players in the world are guests in Upper Austria.

We use this stage with a wide variety of side events and campaigns not only to promote women in sport, but also to contribute more to gender equality overall.

A particular highlight this year was the FE&MALE Sports Conference Advantage Ladies.

FOR SUSTAINABILITY

The UPPER AUSTRIA LADIES LINZ organises the tournament according to the guidelines of a green event. This includes joint, individual "green" campaigns with our partners and the design of our own green court in our public area. Please also support our sustainability initiatives around the Upper Austria Ladies Linz, for example by travelling by public transport on your next visit. Thank you very much.

FOR INCLUSION

The central idea of inclusion is that people with and without disabilities live together in a self-determined way. In our case, doing sport together.
For us, wheelchair tennis is an integral part of the tournament. Wheelchair tennis players can present their sporting achievements and also their social concerns.
 
The highlight of 2024 was the Wheelchair Nations Cup between Austria and Germany.

FOR CHILDREN

The UPPER AUSTRIA LADIES LINZ casts a spell over many children. They get to know their role models here and find access to a top-class sporting event in a fun way.

We also offer a range of events especially for children, such as our 1,000 tennis rackets for 1,000 girls campaign, our special days for schoolchildren and the Sport & Fun with the Stars campaign initiated by the City of Linz.
